    Michiana SHRM - Scholarships


    HR Certification Scholarship Program

    We have established a scholarship program for those interested in becoming HR certified through SHRM National (SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP). Our goal is to assist individuals in becoming Human Resource professionals who will in turn serve our community- the greater Michiana area.

    Student Scholarship Programs

    The Michiana Society for Human Resource Management Chapter has established two (2) scholarship programs to help finance higher education for students who are either student chapter members or who are sons or daughters of current Michiana Chapter members.  The deadline to submit an application is April 1, 2017.

    Sons and Daughters Scholarship:

    This scholarship is available to sons and daughters of current Michiana Chapter members. Applicants must either be a senior in high school or attending college with a GPA of 3.0 or better. Sons and Daughters Scholarship Description
     

    Student Chapter Scholarship:

    This scholarship is available to current student chapter members who are attending college with a GPA of 3.0 or better and pursuing a degree in Human Resource Management or related field. High school seniors are also eligible to apply for this scholarship if he/she intends to pursue a Human Resource Management degree or related field. Student Chapter Scholarship Description

    How To Apply

    Scholarships will be awarded to one individual in each scholarship category in the amount of $1,000 each.  To apply for these scholarships, please download and complete your application. The deadline to submit an application is April 1, 2017.
